Vegans and Vegetarians!! How to compos your menu!

In order not to expose yourself to deficiencies in a plant-based diet, you should carefully supply the body with the necessary minerals. The right proportion of ingredients, the selection of the right products rich in protein and minerals, e.g. iron, calcium, vitamins B and D and omega-3 fatty acids. The essence is to properly balance the diet, as well as supplementation of the missing ingredients. What should we pay attention to? Below are some tips 👇


Take care of regular consumption of vegetable protein, which you will find in beans, lentils, chickpeas, tofu or, for example, chia seeds. By including these ingredients in various meals, you ensure that you are getting the right amount of protein. It will be a good choice in our menu

Vege Black pudding prepared on freshly baked crispy toast with black beans, tofu and puree from roasted apple, then we suggest going to the hearty Silesian dumplings with wild garlic pesto, which have chickpeas in their composition.

Provide as much vegetable iron as possible, which is contained, among others, in leafy vegetables, e.g. spinach, kale, legumes discussed above, nuts

and seeds, e.g. pumpkin, sesame, chia and wholesome cereal products. To increase the absorption of plant iron, use and try to combine ingredients rich in vitamin C as well. C, e.g. sea buckthorn, paprika, green parsley, citrus or broccoli. Here, Shakshuka with peppers and kale and Cream deserve special mention in our menufrom pickled cucumber with sorrel, nuts and other vegetables that create a perfect combination.

Enrich foods with calcium. The easiest way to recommend plant-based drinks (e.g. soy or almond), calcium-based tofu, sesame, chia and green vegetables. This coffee will be a great addition to our dishes, and when you are not hungry, drop by for coffee, celebrate with us peace and quiet from the everyday hustle and bustle. Coffee goes perfectly with our dessert, which is worth asking the staff about. We will not always meet the requirements of this diet, however, there is a huge probability that our master Mateusz will also please you with his taste.

For the proper functioning of the body, micro and macro elements, i.e. main elements and trace elements, are necessary. Although some of them are not needed

in large quantities, the lack of them can lead to disorders and health problems. B vitamins, and mainly B12, are supplied to the body mainly from animal products, e.g. dairy products and eggs. Excluding these products, it is worth reaching for supplementation. Vegetarians will find support in our menu card by ordering, for example, a board of local Kashubian cheeses from Osada Bure Misie. Vegans will find a little support, apart from proper supplementation, by ordering hot drinks with plant milk or vegan Apple Crumble with oatmeal and plum jam. It is also worth mentioning how important fats and fatty acids are here. They are an important carrier of vitamins in our body. They support their absorption. Linseed, Chia seeds, walnuts, etc. are the main products that will support your diet.


To sum up, the variety of ingredients and products counts in any diet. Include as many vegetables and fruits in your diet as possible to provide the vitamins, minerals and fiber you need. Use as many seasonal products as possible that will strengthen your body's immunity for the coming months. You will find the most nutrients in local products that are adapted to the requirements of your body, e.g. the climate in which you live.
